Your original W-2 statement for 2008 will be mailed by January 26, 2009. Please allow at least five days for U.S. Mail delivery.

How can I get a duplicate W-2 statement?

Can't find your W-2 statement? Now you can get a duplicate W-2 statement fast! W-2 eXpress, a service of The Work Number, enables you to quickly and easily obtain your duplicate W-2 statement for 2008. This service will be available beginning February 2, 2009.

Go to www.w2express.com or call 1-877-325-9239

1. Log in to your account by choosing Westaff as your employer (web site only) or by entering employer code 90511
2. Enter:
   • Your Social Security Number
   • Your PIN: last four digits of your Social Security Number
3. Make the following selections:
   
   • Select to get a duplicate copy of your W-2
   • Select the tax year
   • Choose to have your duplicate W-2 faxed, mailed to your home address or another address

You will be given a confirmation number. You can check the status of your request by revisiting W-2 eXpress, going to "order status" and entering in your confirmation number. You may also call 1-877-325-9239.

Please Note: Your first 2008 reissue is free of charge until April 15, 2009. A $10.00 fee will be charged for a reissue under the following circumstances:
1) After the first request for a 2008 form
2) A request made after April 15, 2009 for a 2008 form
3) Any request for a past tax year (earlier than 2008)

How do I report an error on my W-2 statement?

Follow the instructions above and request a correction to your W-2. If you call the phone number, client service representatives are available M-F 7am - 8pm (CST). Correction requests may be submitted on or after February 2, 2009.

Note: Address changes do not require a W-2c (W-2 Correction); you may change your address by simply requesting to receive a duplicate W-2 by mail, and then follow the menu options to change your address.
