• Analyze results and provide corrective action support and leadership to drive sanitation, GMP, and pest control improvements.
• Review and provide input on sanitary design issues at the facility for existing and new processes as well as the facility structure. The position is expected to help minimize the sanitation issues and maximize cleaning capability on incoming and existing equipment.
• Coordinate training and development of employees in the areas of Sanitation/GMP/Pest control/Allergens/ CIP.
• Work with outside vendors in collaboration including the 3^rd Party Sanitation Site Manager, chemical suppliers, and pest control to maintain and improve site cleanliness.

Accounting Clerk Responsibilities:

• Provide accounting and clerical assistance to the Accounting Department
• Accurately prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
• Provide monthly, weekly, and ad hoc reports to Controller
• Record transactions into QuickBooks
• Reconcile vendor invoices with purchase orders
• Work with purchasing and inventory as needed to resolve discrepancies
• Receive and process customer payments
• Order office supplies
• Complete special projects timely
• Follow established policy, procedures, and applicable laws

Accounting Clerk Requirements:

• High school diploma required
• 2+ years of college courses preferred

• 3+ years of office experience required preferably in the Accounting field
• Aptitude for numbers
• Experience using QuickBooks or QuickBooks Online preferred
• Familiar with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
• Strong Skills for managing projects, records, and research
• Competent in MS Office and Excel
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Ability to keep sensitive information confidential
• Plan and execute diverse tasks at the same time without supervision
• Attention to detail

Westaff is looking to hire multiple laborers experienced with concrete for a company in Wallingford, CT!

As a Concrete Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting in various concrete construction projects. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Pay: $17/hr to start, temp to hire

Hours: Monday-Friday (10-12 hour days) 5am to finish & Saturdays REQUIRED as needed 6am to noon!

The responsibilities of the Laborer are:

• Assist with the preparation and setup of concrete forms
• Pour and spread concrete using various tools and equipment
• Smooth and finish surfaces using trowels, screeds, and other hand tools
• Assist with the installation of rebar and wire mesh reinforcement
• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times

The requirements of the Laborer are:

• Previous experience working as a Concrete Laborer or similar role
• Knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques
• Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs – must wear steel toe boots
• Must be reliable and flexible to work required over time
