Description
Westaff is looking for a Part-time Bookkeeper for small business located in in Peabody Ma.
3 days per week, (Tues, Wed, Thurs 800am – 500pm) with opportunities for additional hours based on workload and availability.
Responsiblities will include:
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks using internal systems such as data entry, reconciliation, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Accounts Payable: Process invoices, verifying expenses, and scheduling payments.
- Accounts Receivable: Process payments, following up on outstanding invoices.
- Invoicing: Prepare and send invoices to clients.
- General Office Duties
- Various administrative tasks including filing, scanning, copying, and organizing documents.
- Assist with incoming calls and visitors.
Requirements of the Part time Bookkeeper:
- Prior experience in bookkeeping, invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
- Familiarity with accounting software and invoicing systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
