Job Opening: Production Tech
Description
Westaff has an immediate opening for an experience Production Tech for an amazing facility in South Baton Rouge.
Pay: $14-16 DOE
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8-5
Overall duties:
- Assists in the production of cosmeceutical, over-the-counter drug, and other similar products
- Retrieving bulk materials
- Weighing out and/or measuring the ingredients
- Inspecting the equipment and utensils to be used to ensure their cleanliness and operability and taking all appropriate actions to correct any deficiencies found before the operation begins.
- Setting machine speeds, temperatures, cycles and other operating parameters of the equipment to be used in the operation.
- Placing the ingredients into the equipment in the sequence and manner
- Starting and tending the equipment during the manufacturing process,
- Draining manufactured product into other equipment or into storage tanks.
- Sampling manufactured product and sending samples to the Quality Control Unit for analyses.
- Cleaning the equipment and utensils used in preparation for subsequent use.
