Job Opening: Accounting Clerk
Description
Temporary Accounting Clerk needed for a Warehouse in Alexandria, LA!
Hours: M-F 7:30am- 4:30pm
Pay: $17-20/Hourly depending on experience
Accounting Clerk Responsibilities:
Provide accounting and clerical assistance to the Accounting Department
Accurately prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
Provide monthly, weekly, and ad hoc reports to Controller
Record transactions into QuickBooks
Reconcile vendor invoices with purchase orders
Work with purchasing and inventory as needed to resolve discrepancies
Receive and process customer payments
Order office supplies
Complete special projects timely
Follow established policy, procedures, and applicable laws
Accounting Clerk Requirements:
High school diploma required
Experienced with QuickBooks required, QuickBooks online is preferred.
Proficient in Excel
Experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Good communication skills.
Proficient in all other Microsoft 365 programs.
