Westaff is Looking for a Bilingual Human Resources Clerk for a Manufacturing Company in Durham, CT!
Company is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bilingual HR Clerk to assist with various administrative and clerical tasks within the HR department. This role involves managing attendance, facilitating communication, maintaining employee records, and supporting HR operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, team-oriented, and able to handle sensitive information confidentially.
TTH
Shift: Monday to Friday, M-Th 6:00AM-3:00PM & Fri 6:00AM-12:00PM
Pay Rate: $18-$22/hr, BOE
Bilingual HR Clerk Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily attendance reports, track attendance points, and assist with attendance-related inquiries.
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and employees, ensuring a professional front desk presence.
- Assist with data entry for HR reports, employee records, and special projects.
- Support employee communication efforts via monitors, text messages, and bulletin boards.
- Help plan company events, recognition programs, and employee engagement activities.
- Oversee locker assignments, vending machine inventory, and PPE distribution.
- Assist with safety inspections, maintaining safety records, and ensuring compliance.
- Organize and maintain both physical and electronic HR files.
- Coordinate and support the administration of employee recognition programs and other HR initiatives.
- Handle inquiries regarding employee benefits and company policies, ensuring clear communication.
Bilingual Human Resources Clerk Qualifications:
- Bilingual in Spanish
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional training is a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Previous HR or administrative experience is a plus.
