Westaff is hiring for 1st shift Shipping Associate in Putnam, CT!

Shift: 6am – 3:15pm

Pay: $17 per hour

Responsibilities of Shipping Associate:

• Operate material handling equipment to move product within the warehouse.
• Check-in inbound product and tag accordingly.
• Preform various receiving functions, unloading trucks and putting away product in correct overstock location.
• Maintain pick locations by cutting product open and placing product in primary picking locations.
• Organize orders to be picked in an efficient manner.
• Select full case and break pack orders by pulling, stacking, and labeling merchandise, bringing it to the staging area.
• Inspect all power equipment and complete the safety inspection sheet before operation.
• Stack empty pallets, clean and sweep work area, remove trash regularly.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner.

Qualifications for Shipping Associate:

• 3 months of related warehouse experience
• Ability to work full time Monday – Friday
