Job Opening: I.T. Support & Help Desk Admin
Description
Westaff is looking for a I.T. Support and Help Desk Admin for a great company in Wichita, KS!
Pay: $20/hr.
1st Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5pm
Essential Functions:
- Provide 1st and 2nd level support for Windows, MS Office, web browsers, email, system administration, iOS, and computer hardware
- Respond to support requests in a courteous and friendly manner
- Research, resolve, and respond to questions and issues received from users in a timely manner
- Track time and actions for each Helpdesk request using the Helpdesk Ticket System
- Procure and track IT equipment using IT inventory system
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair or replace computer hardware
- Move, relocate, and setup workstations; printers, copiers and run computer cables
- Install and support various software packages including MS Office, Adobe, etc.
- Ability to deploy and configure remote devices with little supervision
- Keep management informed of any customer satisfaction or relationship concerns
- Communicate effectively and at appropriate times with all levels of staff
- Manage multiple assignments in a very fast past environment
Technical Requirements
- Strong commitment to customer service
- Strong problem solving and analytical abilities
- Windows based PCs in a business networked environment
- Proven ability to be self-directed Experience:
- Preferred 1-years of I.T. Help Desk and Customer Service Experience
- Preferred experience and knowledge with Active Directory, Exchange, and related Server Roles
- Preferred experience and knowledge with Deployment of Windows OS (PC and Server)
- Preferred experience and knowledge with backup and recovery systems.
- Preferred experience with SQL and MySQL Server
- Preferred Knowledge and experience with VMware or related technology
- Preferred Knowledge and experience with Linux systems
