Westaff if hiring for a Part Time Office Assistant in West Springfield, MA!
Part time Office Assistant to provide administrative support to the Customer Service and Sales Teams.
Shift: 9am-3pm, Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday.
Payrate: $18 / hour
Office Assistant Responsibilities:
• Promptly and professionally answering phones in a busy office environment – assisting customers whenever possible.
• Maintain organized and efficient filing systems, including digitally.
• Processing customer orders for shipping out via UPS or shipping out on company trucks (fast and accurate typing required).
• Data entry and record keeping – input and update customer information in our database accordingly.
• Scheduling appointments for incoming freight shipments (requires coordinating with other departments).
• Recording notes on delivery driver’s logs during the day and assisting returning drivers with the next day’s route schedule.
• Assisting the Customer Service Team as needed on a daily basis (specifically covering lunches and breaks).
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed
Office Assistant Qualifications:
• Previous office experience required (2+ years).
• Experience in Microsoft Office, email usage, computer usage, internet use.
• Excellent organization skills and multitasking abilities.
• Multi-tasker with lots of patience.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Strong and fast typing skills.
