Job Opening: Material Handler
Description
Westaff is Hiring Multiple Material Handlers and General Laborers to work in Farmington, CT!
Pay: starting at $17.85/hr
Shift: 2nd shift, 3:30PM-11PM Monday – Friday
Responsibilities of Material Handlers & General Laborers:
- Load and unload materials, parts or products onto a form pallets, skids, conveyors or trucks
- Record location & label inventory
- Utilize Forklifts such as stand up, sit down, reach truck, etc.
- Operate other machinery skids, pallet jacks, RF scanners
- Keeps track of shortages within warehouse
- Organize & monitor inventory
- Performs quality assurance & inspects finished parts
- Pull and prepare product for shipment
Material Handlers & General Laborers Requirements:
- At least one year experience with Material Handling, Forklift Operation, or Order Selecting
- Must have High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
