Job Opening: Concrete Foreman

Westaff is seeking a Concrete Foreman for a local company in Hall, MT!
Schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm
Term: Permanent
Pay: $30-$40/hour DOE
Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and supervise concrete construction projects from start to finish

Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure project requirements are met

Lead and manage a team of concrete workers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
-
Interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of work
-
Monitor and enforce safety regulations and practices on construction sites
-
Schedule and coordinate deliveries of concrete materials and equipment
-
Conduct quality inspections and ensure work meets project specifications and industry standards
-
Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials needed for concrete work
-
Maintain accurate records of project progress, daily activities, material usage, and workforce hours for reporting and billing purposes

Address unforeseen issues or changes during the project, making quick decisions and finding effective solutions to keep the project on track.

Serve as a primary point of contact between project managers, subcontractors, clients, and the concrete team, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Overseeing the daily operations of the carpentry team

Ensuring work is completed efficiently

Maintaining a safe and productive work environment
Qualifications:
-
At least 3 years of experience as a Concrete Foreman in the construction industry

In-depth knowledge of concrete construction techniques, methods, and materials
-
Strong leadership and organizational skills
-
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
-
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-
Certification in concrete construction or related field preferred
- Clean driving record and a valid driver’s license required
Working Conditions:
-
Extensive airline and automobile travel required (Up to 3 weeks per month)
-
Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weather.

Engage in hands on concrete work

Must be able to lift 100 pounds
-
Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines

Requirement for various physical positions such as sitting, standing, kneeling, squatting, walking, and driving

Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other business machines
