Now Hiring: Aerospace Quality Inspector

Location: Wichita, KS
Shift: 1st, 2nd, and Weekend Shifts
Pay: $16-$21/hr.

Are you an experienced Quality Inspector with a background in aerospace manufacturing? We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional to perform inspections for assembly and machining operations, ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards and customer specifications. If you have experience with precision measurement tools, engineering drawings, and quality control processes, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career!

What You’ll Do:

Perform first article inspections (FAI) on machined parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools
Conduct in-process and final inspections on machined and assembled parts
Utilize conventional inspection tools and gauges (micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, etc.)
Follow inspection procedures to accept or reject parts and assemblies
Communicate with internal teams to maintain quality standards
Conduct assembly inspections to verify workmanship and compliance
Ensure adherence to AS9100 quality management system
Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

2+ years of experience in aerospace/aircraft quality inspection or assembly
Proficiency in precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.)
Familiarity with surface finish, edge preparation, and general machined part appearance
Understanding of outside processing certifications
Knowledgeable in engineering drawings/models
Basic understanding of CMM and CNC machining
Experience with AS9100/QMS auditing
Computer-literate with basic knowledge of CATIA
