Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing & Quality Engineer to join our team in Shreveport, LA. This role is critical in ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
?? Order Setup – Ensure accurate setup of manufacturing orders and production schedules.
?? Process Optimization – Monitor and analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
?? Material Testing & Analysis – Conduct tests to evaluate materials, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
?? Quality Control & Assurance – Maintain rigorous quality control procedures to meet company and industry standards.
?? Inventory & Materials Management – Oversee inventory levels and ensure proper material handling.
?? Documentation & Reporting – Maintain accurate records of production, quality checks, and process improvements.
?? Continuous Improvement – Implement and support lean manufacturing and process enhancement initiatives.
?? Quality System Maintenance – Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and compliance with industry regulations.
Required Qualifications:
?? Education – Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Welding Engineering.
?? Experience – 5-10 years in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3-5 years in metal or steel processing.
?? Expertise – Proven experience in both manufacturing process engineering and quality control within a production setting.
?? Industry Knowledge – Strong understanding of quality management systems and industry standards.
?? Technical Skills –
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Access, and data analysis tools.
? Hands-on experience with CAD software.
?? Soft Skills –
? Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
? Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
