Westaff is hiring a HR Assistant for a company located in Lafayette, LA.
*This position has the possibility to become permanent
Pay: $14/ Hour
Schedule: 40 hours weekly
Qualifications:
- Must have experience with Word, Excel, & efficient use of the Internet
- Must have previous clerical experience in a fast paced work environment
Responsibilities:
- Answers phones and processes mail for the HR department.
- Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
- Performs data entry for new hires and position changes.
- Maintains department records, uploads and files documents into appropriate team member files.
- Assists with on-boarding process.
- Performs customer service functions by answering team member requests and questions.
- Provides clerical and operational support to other human resource staff.
- Protects organization’s value by maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
- Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.
