Westaff is looking for a Production Associate/Assembler for our client in Salem MA

Hours : 8:00am- 4:00pm

Good attendance is a requirement.

Looking for production assembly workers.

Job Requirements and Expectations include:

• Using hand tools and assembling product during 8-hour shift.
• Experience in assembly using small tools such as screw driver , pliers and snips.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs on occasion.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Work with small team environment.
• Standing required.

The Production Associate (Assembler) will become an integral addition to our production team. He or she will assist in all daily production activities. The optimal candidate will be eager to learn and grow within our company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•  Assist in all manufacturing and assembly processes
•  Product assembly- Using hand tools (drills, picks, wrenches)
•  Taking inventory of components and finished goods
•  Testing finished goods for quality assurance
•  Cleaning workstation and warehouse
•  Packaging finished goods

Job Skills and Qualifications:

•  High school education or equivalent (GED)
•  Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
•  Job duties include standing for 6-8 hours
•  Warehouse or production experience preferred
•  Production line experience preferred

Westaff is looking for a Press Brake Operator for our client in Methuen.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ experience setting up and operating precision forming press brakes.

A press brake is a machine tool for bending sheet and plate material, most commonly sheet metal. It forms predetermined bends by clamping the workpiece between a matching punch and die. A press back uses automatic back gauge to help the operator bend material properly.

Payrate is $20 - $28 based on experience and shift

The shifts are:

• 1st Shift Mon–Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm
• 2nd Shift Mon-Thurs 3:30pm – 2:00am
